Enjoy those gray days. High 90s here at least another wk and a half. Record breakers. Love seeing your pics and imagining those days spent strolling in beauty.

I believe the flowers stole the show from the light today. So pretty!! One batch looks like fire and the other like roses in cabbage!?

Enjoyed the quaint bookstore…reminds me of “The Shop Around the Corner” featured in the movie “You’ve Got Mail.” (Wow that’s a blast from the past and funny to think how exciting it was back then as e-mail and instant message was just evolving. Now that movie’s concept has turned into MTVs “Catfish!”) I digress…

Sweet photo of you capturing Bernie while he photographs you.

    Jealous of your temps!!

Welcome to The Ludwigs! I hope we get to spend a little time with them. We thought they were coming in yesterday so that’s why we tried to stay out of your way. The photos continue to be wonderful, even on a gray day, and yes, blue light counts! Will be in touch.

Love those adorable chairs. I covet the cool, cloudy weather. No relief in sight for us.

What in the world is going on with Alabama weather! I’m sure everything on my patio is burned up even with a 3-day a week sprinkler.

I think I agree with Natallie, the flowers were tops today. But they just barely beat the thermometer. Do you think in Celcius or do you have to convert to Fahrenheit to know what tomorrows temps will be?

I can make a pretty good guess about the temp conversion. It’s 5/9ths plus 32 or some weird something like that. Ha! I mainly have learned from the hot summers that you don’t want to get anywhere near 30 C.

L&B, pleased you made it to The Red Wheelbarrow (and thks for the mention!). I’d love to see your book on Penelope’s Paris shelves 🙂

Love the photo of the photographer at work, and the purply flowers too. Cheers and as always, I look forward to following your adventures.
