Oh how I remember the pain of spotty wi-if on our cruise. I would write a piece for my blog only to lose it because we lost connection before it could post. Our news did not cover the flooding of the Seine last night. Maybe this morning.

Oh my!! Did those people get their luggage at all?? And your main photo looks like artichoke – with a twist? Love the clock!!

They were without luggage for 3 days! Very difficult for them but they survived. Yes, the main photo is an artichoke which was at the market in the town square where the clock was located. Glad you are reading the blog! Love to James and Carson.

In the cemetery, I loved the trunk of the old knarred rose bush.

Have been reading this a.m. on BBC of the flooding in France. Regret that it is in your area of Paris. How are Bernie’s cousins? You two immediately came to mind! So glad you are on river cruise now and hope Paris has recovered somewhat by the time you return. W & I went on an Easterrn Euroupe Viking cruise last year; loved Viking and tour but wifi was challenging. We, your loyal enthusiastic blog followerrs, appreciate your posts whenever they arrive. Continue to enjoy the clear skies, pleasant temperatures, and sights.

Thank you, Susan. We don’t know what to expect tomorrow when we arrive in Paris.

I’m still doing catch-up from our trip. It is lovely to see your travels also! I saw photos today of some of the flooding, right over the banks along the Seine!
