Linda, as always you look like a teenager!

Wonderful job with the Place Vendôme photos. I’ve always found the Place a little OTT with all the jewellers and such but love it through the L&B lens 🙂 Good luck tomorrow — you two set the example as you’re already walkers extraordinaire — and especially on Sunday. Missing your Paris posts already.

Merci, Carolyn! You are too kind! Lots of local decorations going up now on businesses, cafés, etc. just like at home. We got a taxi for Sunday morning already reserved so hopefully we’ll get out of Paris without difficulty.

Linda, that photo of you in front of Au Vieux Paris would make a great personal Christmas card.

I trust the two of you will have a safe and uneventful journey back to Huntsville. I so much have enjoyed the blog this year, just super.

Beth, did you vote on the photo contest? I have tried to keep up with a list of names and yours is not there. Could be my mistake.

Linda – your photo in front of Au Vieux Paris is adorable! It looks like a fashion magazine shoot.
Keep that one aside to enjoy as a table top decoration in your home.

We all wish you and Bernie a safe and reliable trip home.
It’s been a marvelous experience following you this year. Thank you!!

I know you’ve talked of it many times, but I admired the designs on the street pavers in front of LV. These folks take time to do things right. Because they don’t have Thanksgiving as the start date, I wonder when the traditional day to start putting up Christmas decorations is.

Christmas started about November 20th slowly but now is in full swing. All the stores are decorated, even the little privately-owned shops. Not fancy, more home-grown but nice.

You look so cute in front of au Vieux Paris! I almost didn’t recognize the place without all the green vines hanging down. Enjoy your last couple of days and safe travels home.
