I can’t believe Paula and Tim are nearing the end of their trip. It seems they just arrived! It has been interesting and enjoyable to follow along.

I loved Bernie’s light shots! My kind of photos! And of course the Galeries Lafayette shoe floor I’d always AMAZING! Thanks for sharing!

Au Printemps and Les Galeries Lafayette were both so beautiful I Googled them to see if they were old buildings converted to be stores/malls or actually built to be stores. Wikipedia says that Printemps became famous for ‘marking items with set prices and eschewed the haggling based on customer appearance’. Are most prices in Paris set or is there still some haggling or negotiating?

Prices are definitely set except at the big flea markets. And even then, I was taught not to insult the French with a price that is ridiculously low.
