We waited many years for something to click at Le Palais Garnier. Always, everything was playing at the Opera Bastille which we didn’t care to see. Keep waiting! It was worth it.

Descriptions of the Opera House would have been insufficient! What a grand, glorious, ornate and spectacular building! I’m glad you included pictures of you and Bernie as well. As I’m sure you’ve heard we’re making up for all your cool weather here in Alabama. At one point it was 87 with a heat index of 107 yesterday before the storms rolled through.

Loved the photos of le Palais Garnier. I was astonished to see what looked like a Chagall above the chandelier so searched and sure enough it is! Painted on canvas first…must have been a feat to put it up there. I find it charming and interesting in the setting.

Thank you for all your interesting days and sharing friends, family and life in Paris.

The little dog was sooo cute.

Great photos of the Opera House. The chandelier in Phantom was remarkably similar! I’ve been in New England for the past week. Enjoyed “catching up” on your wonderful blog tonight!

You must plan to go to the Opera House sometime. HOpe you were playing golf someplace great in New England.
