Ah yes, good ole Wichita. Remember it well, some good memories, some … others to forget.

    What an adventure getting there.

Enjoy the visit Bernie, Marlyn, LInda, Monica … wish I could have joined you but our circumstances haven’t changed much.

Linda!! This is a great story! It reminds me of instances on the Metro in Paris with you two!! I love the idea that you are traveling in the Vette! Enjoy the rest of the trip. Fondly, Jeanie

OMG! Going in wrong direction sounds exactly like something we’d do. Your blogs, whether in Paris or the middle of nowhere, continue to make my day.

Only you two could make a trip to Kansas, of all places, into an adventure! Glad you were able to laugh at the whole thing!

    Oh Linda and Bernie!!

As much as I adore your *Paris* posts, this is truly a classic! My favourite line has to be, ‘ … as I live and breathe, Bernie makes the turn, with the comment that he’s following cars with Kansas license plates.’

You two are a true inspiration and I can just picture you cruising along in a red Corvette!! Whoo hoo that is just TOO COOL L&B! And it reminds me of the two of you in the car dealer by Madeleine (?) a year or two ago 🙂 Who knew. And the first Pizza Hut, too.

Hope you[‘re having a marvelous time with your friends and Bernie’s Wichita memories. Am so looking forward to your Paris posts and photos resuming soon. Take care both and love from the UK xx C and C

I’m hoping you got a picture of the slab. On google maps I can see the culvert over the drive where I used to play, catching crawdads when the spring rains came. I sometimes wonder what would be a good gift to people who have everything. Now, I know: A floating magnetic compass for your dashboard!
