Fashion, friends, and frosty temps, these are a few of my favorite things.

Is it common for large department stores to have regular fashion shows? Bernie seems to see photos ops that others may not. The one which he’s not looking through the viewfinder shows a lot of imagination.

      Pat,
Yes, Bernie is a great photographer with a very nice camera! As to the fashion shows, this one is the only one we know about in Paris. That’s why it should be more spectacular!

Hurrah for cool temps. Closed windows??? Wow! It was actually pleasant for us up at Burritt last night. Truly sounds as if the Paris of old is slipping away. As you said, our age is showing. Do Parisians our age have the same impression? How do they feel about it?

Well, I don’t know that many older people in Paris. Just our one neighbor Chantalle. I think she feels the same way. If you don’t mind paying the small fee, you should read my most recent post on Channillo.com. It’s on FB. I think it costs $2.59 or something for the series.

In Dallas, no one dressed any differently than we do here. Margie and I went to Zoe’s for lunch on the way home yesterday. We could have easily been on Whitesburg, just having lunch.

I paid $25.00 to have American Air lose my suitcase! They’re supposed to bring it to me. The flight they say it’s on is almost due to arrive. That’s been my excitement for the day.

And, since I’ve been home, I’ve been trying to keep this new Windows 8.1 from “eating” my passwords. FRUSTRATED is one word for me. Microsoft wants you to copy a combination of letters and numbers over and over and over, ad nauseum. Every once in a while they ask how likely you are to suggest this program to a friend on a scale of 0-10. My check off spot is ALWAYS 0! Oh, I do hate it. Imagine, all you want to do is check your e-mail. It might even be something important, but oh no………………

I’m glad the weather has changed for you. Enjoy it.
