Beautiful light filled photos! The shot of the light in the church is inspiring! Great shot of the Moulin de la Galette! Good to see the Maison rose is still going strong. Again, kudos to Bernie for some wonderful photos. And your shot is lovely also, Linda! See you soon!

The featured image up top is also mine! By the way, you guys are running the show as I know your time in Paris is so limited. Just tell us where and when and we’ll be there. We’ve cleared our calendars!

    Bonjour!
Thank you so much for letting me follow you on your day to day exploring Paris! I remember last year and how miserably hot it was. Yes, you do deserve this gorgeous weather. I do like the large pictures, so I hope you will keep them.
We have only been to Paris once and are thinking about renting an apartment there this April. We never made it to Montmartre so must return for that and to see other places for missed! Enjoy

Montmartre is a definite! Do a little research to discover all there is to see. Many folks miss the best parts as the crowds can be overwhelming.

Don’t apologize. I could never get too many pictures! Love Montmartre, too. I think the little painting we bought was from that same attist.

There are still SO many people. Just have to work around it, and it’s up to 80 this afternoon. Rain tomorrow which they desperately need!

Love all the pics, what a glorious day you had!! Montmartre remains such a wonderful spot with so many wonderful treasures. I remember the “sunflower artist” from last year. We did not purchase a sunflower but we did purchase an original that we both love. Bernie, that is a GREAT pic of you…looking quite debonair!!!!! What a treat it is for me to have my first cup of coffee and read your post. Love walking down memory lane..

My morning coffee and another delightful stroll through Paris. Has quickly become a fun excursion to start my day.

As to the size of the photo, I prefer the smaller size that I can expand as/if I want. Either way you and Bernie are great photographers.

I’m looking on my iPhone so if I want to see the photo larger, I still have to click it. I don’t see a difference from my perspective using the phone.

I love the difference in lighting by you changing up time of day because, you are right, Montmartre is typically at dusk so this is also beautiful! I love morning light! The flowers spilling out of the window boxes, the kelly green fence/gate, ivy growing up the building- lovely! From going last year, I recognize the area where we stood and you said that if you were to ever live in Paris, it would be in one of those apartments… I took a sweet picture of you looking finally over it last year 🙂 I do not like the graffiti on the wall in the stair area! Seeing the Louvre at night time was really pretty as well! And I like that you are getting nerdy about taking pictures… It really can be so much fun and you will have plenty of time dedicated to playing with it over the next couple of months!

I see you decided not to share the occurrence in the subway?

Graffiti is unfortunately part of the ambiance of Montmartre which I say in my book. I forgot to mention the subway incident but will tomorrow.

I’m enjoying your and Bernie’s photos so much! As I scrolled today’s, I kept finding one favorite after another, but my very favorite was the one you took of the light from street lights and a lovely sunset reflecting in the glasses of wine. Thank you for so generously sharing Paris with your followers!

Sorry I am late in replying! I love the large files! What is a photo without the details? I really am enjoying this year’s theme. Paris is the City of Light. What better theme? You know I love the Love Locks. I have thought many times of stringing a chain over the bridge over Limestone Creek on McKee Road next to our house and starting a Love Lock chain there. Wouldn’t Dale Strong just love me for that?

The lovelocks are a sweet idea that just went too far. They were marring the precious bridges in Paris with excessive weight. I like them too but understand the point of view of the Parisians who started objecting.
