The Carpenters did sing about rainy days and Mondays. I’m sorry you are struggling with the weather. I hope you get a break later in the week.

Thanks for satisfying our curiosity about the cushions! Very attractive. You two obviously can have wonderful times come rain or come shine. (And you’re right: it was the Carpenters!)

The moving day picture interested me. I’m guessing some of those buildings don’t have elevators. For those with no elevators, do you know if rents correlate with flights of stairs that must be walked up? Thanks

To some extent. We stayed one year in a top-floor apartment with 82 steps one way. The rent was cheap and the place was tiny, but nice. Our building was built in the 16th century so no elevator!

Can’t believe you braved the Louvre on free day! Good for you. I had to nix that plan to stand in the middle of the Champs also.
A very undramatic flight home 🤗and about to enjoy a sunny drive to Huntsville. Will look forward to the party pics. Hope that wine is worth serving🥴

We didn’t actually go upstairs into the museum, just the shops down below which you can’t get to anymore w/o a ticket. I’m sure the wine will be fine.

We’re home and had a good flight. Sorry your Sunday was so rainy. We thought that might be the case as we headed to the airport. See you again in a few weeks after you have many more exciting tales to tell.
