Try to preserve some of that color. We’re on a bus. Our train to Arles was canceled. Ugh! You never know.

Oh, my! Ain’t traveling fun? At least you got to see the Sagrada Familia! Hope things improve. This is the stuff of which memories are made!!! Just like kidney stones, being locked out of your apartment, and being thrown off an airplane. SOMEDAY, you will laugh. But right now, not so great, huh?

Just read “Sarah’s Key” this summer. Very sad and moving book. Thank you Linda for the picture of the statue. “Never forget “ is very apropos.

I remember that we talked about exploring this area when we were there. I’m happy to see you decided to go forth and discover new territory. It looks like you were successful in finding areas of note and interest.

    Marvelous photos Bernie. Impressive.

Combined with Linda’s photos my morning stroll through Paris (through your lens) is such a photographic delight.

Lovely photos and thoughts about the Vel d’hiv memorial.

And good luck to your friends with the trains! Read many to Paris also cancelled due to the big storm/floods in the South.

You’re so right about the memories and smiles … later! 🙂

I truly enjoy strolling with you through the streets of Paris. What a wonderful place to visit, especially when someone knows all the spectacular places to visit. Thank you!

The movie, Sarah’s Key, was also well done.

Yes, absolutely. Both the book and the movie recount this history with poignance!
