We enjoyed the dinner and the company! Thanks for inviting us. He was an excellent musician! So far the quality of street musicians we’ve heard — even on the metro — has been superior to previous years. Many are worth listening for a bit and dropping a few centimes or a euro in their cup.

Linda, I understand your regret about leaving. I am in mourning about Italy at the moment as I walk the bustling, tourist-plastered streets of Edinburg with my Spalding colleagues. It is so different. I miss the piazza of Pietrasanta which is so like your evening coffees and people watching there. I think you and Bernie should go one time at least when you are not entertaining nonstop. You deserve to have Paris all to yourself, for once!! I know you love the people and the sharing, though. And we love traveling with you!

    XO
    Jeanie

Safe travels, Jeanie! We will have next week all to ourselves for the most part. And then home on the 24th.

Even on a slow day you have a full day with great food and friends!

Your pace (and hospitality to many!) has been amazing — sounds like a perfect easy-day break. Love that purple butterfly flower.

Enjoy your remaining Paris days as I have absolutely no doubt you will!
