A Slow, Easy Paris Day
Bonjour,
Yesterday produced no new photos as Bernie is really under the weather with a horrible cold. I did catch-up with laundry, grocery shopping, a little cleaning in the apartment and some other shopping. Looks like today will be much the same.
I scanned back through all the photos I’ve taken and found some which I think I never posted. It’s impossible to use all of them. It’s also impossible for my feeble brain to remember what, when and where on all of these but I will caption where I can.
Keep Bernie in your thoughts, please.

Okay, now is the time to bring in the trusted valued and always works cure. Go get some chicken soup, best NY cure for colds. Actually for a lot of things.. A study was done at Johns Hopkin Med School, much money spent!, and it was found that chicken soup was in fact a wonderful curative. I believe you are in the Marais? So go to the nearest deli, ( yes they exist there!). mom and pop store and buy a vat of it. Always works here!
Hope he is feeling better, hard to recoup when the weather is chilly and wet.
I hope he is feeling better today.. Also eat lightly,, chicken , apple sauce and mashed potatoes are good. simple food!
Feel better Bernie!

Chers amis L and B, I’m so sorry to read of Bernie’s continuing cold. I’m sure it’s frustrating for Paris energiser bunny #1 to need to rest a lot, and well done Paris energiser bunny #2 for continuing to get things done. I hope you’re both able to catch your breath (hmm I have a lovely book on my shelf in the UK about this!) and indeed rest. Sending love and prayers and all positive thoughts for both.

I’m so very sorry that Bernie is feeling so poorly. I hope you don’t come down with it. Hang in there and hopefully in a few days he will begin to feel much better and you won’t get it. Loved the pictures you posted!

Hey there Bernie old friend. Here’s my wishing you to hurry and get well. More places to see and for Linda and yourself to photograph. The chicken soup sounds like a great idea to help you get better and to return to your “energiser bunny self”. You still have places to go and things to see, i.e., Notre Dame. And next time out, Where A Hat.

Wonderful collection of random photos. I especially like the one of the light fixture. We have admired ones like this in the upper level of le grand epicerie! I hope Bernie is feeling better soon. If not you can haul him off to a clinic or the American hospital.
