A Slow, Easy Paris Day

Bonjour,

Yesterday produced no new photos as Bernie is really under the weather with a horrible cold. I did catch-up with laundry, grocery shopping, a little cleaning in the apartment and some other shopping. Looks like today will be much the same.

I scanned back through all the photos I’ve taken and found some which I think I never posted. It’s impossible to use all of them. It’s also impossible for my feeble brain to remember what, when and where on all of these but I will caption where I can.

This is the entry to Hotel Crillon on La Place de la Concorde

This little jewelry shop is just behind Le Pavillon De la Reine on a tiny side street. Bernard Sylvain is the designer and owner. Beautiful but pricey. I have a lovely ring from him!

Les Champs Elysées

I was screamed at by a guard at the American Embassy for taking this photo and sneaked in the next.

This is a temporary bus stop which puts all the buses on Rue St. Paul

This is the entrance at number 42 to our apartment for a dozen years with the bus stop right at the front door. The sidewalk is about 5 feet wide so quite a confusing jam of people.

The French are known for their interesting light fixtures. This one was at L’Orangerie in the cafe

Camouflage pants with a very dressy jacket. This little shop is on rue St. Paul.
