Saying Farewell to the Guys
Bonjour mes amis,
Yesterday was Jamie and Andrew’s last day with us after a very good visit. Less frenetic, less touristy and more informative for them. They plan to return sometime in the fall to do more research in regard to living here permanently. They honored Bernie yesterday with cards and gifts for Father’s Day when we joined them for a late breakfast.
They introduced us to a cute little spot on Blvd. Beaumarchais called the PomPom Cosy. WONDERFUL pancakes.

It was quite cool, but we sat outside anyway and enjoyed the very fresh morning air. We parted company and enjoyed a stroll along rue de Tournelle.

At 6pm, Bernie and I attended the cocktail party from the North Alabama group here with the Chamber for the Paris Air Show. It was at Les Invalides and always very nice.
We were quite late for dinner as we couldn’t find a taxi. We enjoyed our final meal with the guys and said our good-byes.
We are thrilled to share that we will play tour guide to Pat Sims on Wednesday. Pat is the President of Calhoun Community College in Huntsville. And here for the air show.
How’s the weather in Huntsville? Seems to us like storms and rain have been rampant since we left.
A bientôt

Don’t tell Senator Britt that you know me — I had sent her a stern note just seconds before I opened your email. Is it just my browser or is your LindaSpall.com web site not updating with your latest posts?
Nice, varied day, I’m trained now to always check out the cafe chairs.
Good colored glass below the clock.

You’re giving us all a great lesson: look up! While seeking out balconies, you are seeing so many interesting and beautiful things. Thanks. Don’t know about the weather in Huntsville, but here in Kansas it’s hot and humid!
