Tying Up Loose Ends for a Great Visit
Bonjour,
Today brought an end to a fabulous visit with Natalie, Steve, Carson and James. Though it was not perfect, it was pretty darn close and left us all with some fantastic memories. Carson, 16, and James, 11, did amazingly well. I’m so proud of them. There is never enough time and Natalie truly believes the clock moves faster here…truly. I tried to tell her that a second is a second but she thinks there’s a scientific reason that time goes faster…ha!
I promised to share the rest of our Montmartre photos and here they are. We’ll be playing catch-up for a day or two. So many photos!!!!

I have four precious grandkids and to have two of them here with us was so special. Bonjour to Andrew and Avery back in Alabama. We missed you for sure. Yes, we are exhausted and will slowly get back to real life with laundry and shopping. We were truly blessed with gorgeous weather, great food, lots of laughs and hopefully memories to last a lifetime.
More to come,
L & B

Hi Belinda,
Glad you’re following along. As to the lovelocks, they are hated by the Parisians because they are destroying so many of the special structures because of the weight. They are constantly cutting them off. I know they are romantic but…

What a wonderful visit with your family. Hope you get to slow down the pace a bit and rest up. How is Bernie feeling? I’ve read there’s lots of “colds” going around – some of it COVID. Take care.
I’m enjoying reading about your adventures every morning. Thanks for making time for us.
