Nothing As Parisian As A Day At Montmartre
Bonjour,
Sometimes, it’s better to let pictures tell a story…the afternoon in Montmartre and then the evening for dinner at Le Train Bleu. I’ll describe the day in captions as we go through it. There are so many photos I had to reduce the size. I think you can click on them to enlarge. Hope you enjoy.
Memories with my Carson will live in my heart forever! He has been a fantastic little guest!
À bientôt

Great day. I can see why that’s your favorite view. Is there a tree growing right in the middle of the view? Is the dinner restaurant part of a larger building or is that all a restaurant — very fancy, very nice. Do the waiters sing Happy Birthday to Emily. The chairs for your lunch were good. I think you normally take subways — correct? Great day.

Hi Pat, It’s all one restaurant and pretty amazing. And yes the waiter did sing Happy Birthday to Emily. We take the subway everywhere, the most efficient and inexpensive way to get around Paris. Hope you and Sybil are doing well. We’re freezing here. Certainly not a typical July. It didn’t even reach 70 today.

Linda- Loved your photo of the man walking through the wall. I am taking it to French class this week for show and tell. Coincidentally we are beginning to read the book you cited “Le Passe Muraille”. It’s very clever!
Your photos of Montmartre were marvelous!
Thank you!!
