A Day with our Friend Hannah!
Bonjour,
Friends in Paris are treasures and yesterday, we spent all day with Hannah, our friend of many years. She lives partly here and partly in the US. We are rushed for time this morning to play tour guide today to Pat Sims from Huntsville so no commentary…just photos and captions. Hope you enjoy as much as we did!
Wish us well, it’s going up to 87 today.

With these wonderful photographs few words are needed. You, Bernie and your friend, Hannah appear to be having a delightful time together. I loved the new sculpture in front of the church.

You’d mentioned that the Haussmann’s renovation of Paris infrastructure was controversial, it’s funny how Boulevard Malesherbes looks so grand today, but back then, it caused quite a stir—whole neighborhoods were cleared out to make way for Haussmann’s vision. Progress is never simple, is it?
