More Artistic Nuances Waiting for you in Vail, Colorado
Dear Friends,
Just a few more photos from around Vail village before we catch our plane out later this morning. A tip to those who plan to visit some day: fly into Eagle/Vail Airport if you can and not Denver International. DIA is a 2-hour drive to Vail and the smaller, regional airport is only 30 minutes.
One sad correction from yesterday in regard to good places to eat. We drove to Minturn yesterday to have lunch at Chili-Willy’s only to find that it went out of business five years ago! The proprietor couldn’t afford to pay the escalating rent. It was legendary.
I think we are returning to a flood zone after having absolutely perfect weather here in Vail. Enjoy the pictures.

My vote for Best Picture for this trip is ‘Snow Covered Rocks by Stream’(today’s post- with the Betty Ford Globe in background). This trip was a nice surprise. Always invite us when you’re out spending money in nice places.

Beautiful place! Love the photos but especially the ones of the meandering stream. It felt as if these were photos from Europe somewhere. Thank you for blogging the trip.
