Extraordinary Exhibits in Paris, Part Two
Bonjour mes amis,
Today in Alabama is absolutely lovely with a touch of fall in the early morning air as well as that distinctive “ciel bleu” blue sky that only fall of the year creates.
This is Part Two of my series on the best exhibits we’ve attended in Paris. This one was special not only because of its beauty but because we viewed it with Bernie’s French cousins, Pierre and Laurie Verdier. It was a spectacular presentation inside one of the buildings in Place Vendome, one of the ritziest areas of Paris. It houses the Ritz Hotel and many of the designer shops. It was a mirrored journey in a darkened room which offset the jeweled creations. This jewelry design company began in 1906 and is best known for its themes of mystery and prominent use of precious stones.
So… the photos have been deleted unfortunately BUT I did find my original post from years ago. Here’s a link and I hope you will check it out and enjoy. Note: if you go to my home page and click on Blog, you will see all of my posts from many of our years. That is if you want to take an afternoon to do it!
