Rainy Sunday in Paris
Bonjour,
It didn’t take long for the rain to return in Paris and with it a bit of gloom over the city. The locals are humorously crying that Paris has skipped over summer to autumn! We are close to agreeing with them.
A day with this kind of steady rain means not many pictures or adventures to share, other than this one of the priests and parishioners leaving L’Eglise St.-Paul after Sunday worship. How nice to see all the young people!
Yesterday’s sun brought out all the weddings and the car you see at the top of my post was decorated for one of them. The tradition is for a trail of cars to parade through Paris, horns tooting obnoxiously, as the bride and groom lead the way.
We also have a photo of the Eiffel Tower drawn by our little friend, Celestin, which some of you wanted to see.
And, of course, there’s always space for a few more café chairs.
I’ve attached a blog from a web site I like to follow which I think you will enjoy. If you’re going to Paris or have been to Paris, here’s some tips about what NOT to do as a tourist.

Hope the weather’s great wherever you are!
