Vendanges-De-Montmartre

As our journey to Paris gets closer and closer, we are excited about one thing in particular, the wine festival at Montmartre on the first weekend in October.  In case you don’t know, there are lovely grape vineyards on the back side of the mountain and years ago, this was a fruitful harvest.  Now it is more ceremonial but so typical of the French, they make quite a fete of the event.  We’ve read about it but never experienced it and for sure we will be sharing all the color, passion and festivity with you.  Here’s a picture and web site for your enjoyment.
