    Linda,
    So glad your luggage arrived!
I am enjoying your reports, as we visited in May. I post many pictures of food, bathrooms, shoes etc. I have a report on Fodors under surprise trip, as my husband totally surprised me by having purchased airline tickets and booked an apartment before telling me. I love surprises like that!

All is well with the world again! I’m truly happy to hear that. Your new lunch spot looks exquisite. I hope it’s in my future. The shoes were works of art. A lovely collection of photos today.

I love the art work, it is so different. “This is what you look like after a day in the office” briefcase in hand. I looked him up and he never does a whole person, interesting and always some kind of case, even on the beach. Thanks Linda

There is a lot of his work around Paris. It’s amazing.

The red Tesla is about the same color as Bernie’s Corvette which the sales clerk (who was female and cut as a bug) had never heard of. She wanted Bernie to test drive but he passed. The traffic is horrible and can’t imagine wrecking a 80K automobile!

Interested in the Catalano sculptures too and especially neat since you can enjoy them but they don’t block the view. The structural support must be figured out so well as they look like they would fall over.

I enjoyed everyone dancing in the street about the return of your luggage!

How do you resist buying up Paris is what I want to know, and tasting everything! Of course, except for those 80k Ha! cars and other highly priced items.

Lin, it’s so expensive to get over here and to stay for two months, we have no extra money!
By the way, are you in Huntsville?

Glad for the luggage! Place de la Madeleine is one of our favorite hangouts! We were anxious to try the new Pouchkine this year. Alas! It will have to wait till next year. I drooled over your Croque Madame. Loved the photo of the slippers with popcorn looking decoration, with mirrored legs and feet underneath it. Also loves the statues scattered around. What fun! Thanks for our visit for this year.

Peggy, we’re so going to miss you guys! But next year will bring new adventures. It’s hot as hell right now so best not to be here. Not a drop of rain since we arrived and my sinuses are feeling the pollution. It’s been 3 weeks. We have 2 sets of company arriving next week so will be fun, busy times. Love you, my friend!

Next year your theme should be ladies’ shoes! Love the Cafe Pouchkin – are they saying Pushkin?

Not Pushkin but like Pooshkin. I’ve thought about doing ladies shoes but other than store windows, they’re just too hard to get. People are easily offended here if you take their photo so you have to be very discreet. You see great shoes on the street, but can’t get them as people are walking so fast and the streets are jammed. Also thought about scarves but it’s so darn hot right now, no one is wearing one. Gone are days when June and July were so cool and pleasant. Even the bartender said last night, “Global warming!”
